David has over 15 years of experience in advising management teams, private companies and public companies. Prior to joining Assay, he worked at Deloittes for 12 years in the Channel Islands, Moscow and Birmingham offices.
David has considerable experience in supporting clients with their buy and build strategies, working alongside them to develop business plans and growth strategies. A recent example being an electronics manufacturing company which has grown from 1 site and £8m t/o to 3 sites, including 1 overseas, and £35m t/o. Some other notable clients include Eriks/Wyko, University Hospital Birmingham, Paperchase and Aston Manor.

David is also a non-executive director of three clients of the firm. These businesses operate in a range of industries including healthcare, industrial and maintenance, repair and operations.
Outside of work, David is a keen racquet sports player and in 2016 was elected Chairman of the Edgbaston Priory Club (having been Treasurer since 2013). With a history dating back to 1875, the EPC is one of the UK’s premier racquets and lifestyle private members’ clubs. The club has approximately 3,000 members and is home to the Aegon Classic, a pre-Wimbledon ladies tournament, ranked in the top 25 Women’s tennis competitions in the world.
David has been Chair of Governors of Lozells Primary School for the last 6 years. In March 2015, an Ofsted report concluded that the school was outstanding in all areas.
Neil has over 25 years experience providing Corporate Finance advice and funding to a range of clients with a focus on entrepreneurial growing businesses.
Over this time he has advised clients from a range of sectors including Industrials, hospitality and leisure and consumer and retail as well as spending time as a Private Equity investor and debt provider. Having previously been a Midlands corporate finance partner at EY and KPMG he is well placed to leverage his experience to help entrepreneurial businesses achieve their growth and exit aspirations within the mid-market environment at Regent Assay.
Chris is an experienced corporate finance adviser who joined Regent Assay in 2010 having qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC, spending time in the UK and New Zealand.
He has extensive experience of working successfully alongside private equity and owner-managed businesses and has acted on company acquisitions and disposals, MBOs and fund raisings. Past clients have included Vacuum Furnace Engineering, Corporate Risk Systems, Polyplas and Wealden & Eastbourne Lifeline.
Chris has also supported clients on their buy and build strategies, providing financial, strategic and operational guidance and currently sits on the board of an MRO business.

Chris has been part of the professional mentoring scheme at Aston University, which involves working one-to-one with second year business students, helping them prepare for their Placement Year.

Chris is also a keen runner and part of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Athletics Club. He regularly takes part in half- and full-marathons, attaining his personal best of 2hr58 at the London Marathon in 2013.
Olly is an ACA qualified chartered accountant who qualified with PwC’s Banking and Capital Markets audit practice with stints in both London and Birmingham, he has experience working with some of the largest investment banks in the world.
Olly has worked on numerous transactions including the sale of Cellpath Limited to Statlab, the MBO of Star Live backed by LDC and the Sale of Bryland Fire Protection to Obsequio.
He is a graduate of the prestigious PwC Flying Start Degree Programme at Newcastle University.
Originally from the Lake District, when not at work he is often found on the Golf Course or at the Hawthorns.
