Assay Corporate Finance advise on Mobile Promotions MBI
Assay have advised serial entrepreneur and long-standing client David Walley on his investment in Mobile Promotions, an experiential and live events business, where he takes on the role of CEO.
The transaction was led by David Tucker and Chris Taylor of Assay, who worked alongside David for over a year to identify an attractive entry into the market and subsequently negotiate the transaction, with bank funding also being raised to facilitate the deal and ongoing growth plans.
David has operated in the events and exhibition sector for over 20 years including in the roles of Chief Executive of Arena Group and CEO of Freeman Company, and has a track record of delivering growth and innovation in the sector. Working closely alongside Robin Carlisle, the founder of Mobile Promotions, who remains active in the Company with the role of Chairman focusing on client management, the aim is to deliver an ambitious expansion plan which will see a full turnkey solution offering developed through both organic and acquisitive growth.
